At Your Side Doula Services LLC was created by Tracey as a result of a vision to be of the highest service for individuals and their loved ones during the end of life process.  She helps people cope with the sacred passage of death by recognizing the natural and important part it plays in life.   Tracey worked for many years to improve quality of care in the elder care industry by creating and implementing procedures to create a safer, more comfortable environment for elder care residents across the country.  She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master's of Business Administration from Alverno College.  She has trained with hospice nurse Suzanne B. O'Brien, RN, to become a certified End of Life Doula, Elder Care Doula, and Care Consultant through the Doulagivers  end of life program.  In addition, she has completed hospice volunteer training and actively serves as a volunteer at Hospice Promise LLC and Assisteo Hospice LLC.

Tracey's passion was ignited when she found out that there was actually a profession where she could be an advocate for people who are in this sacred journey of dying. Since death is a human experience, it is unique to every single person. Tracey is skilled in knowing the important questions to ask to help ensure that choices are understood, planned and expressed.   The answers to these important questions are the basis for the customized service plan created to meet the needs and wishes identified by the dying person and their loved ones.  The prospect of dying can often be accompanied by fear and denial for both the dying person and their loved ones.  The idea of open and honest conversations about death are very slowly starting to surface within our society.  Tracey believes that  planning for the end of life, understanding the choices you can make before the crisis presents itself is the best way to ensure that nothing is left unattended or unspoken.  However, planned or not, every individual deserves to have a peaceful death, in the way they wish.

If you or a loved one is starting on this sacred journey, she can help ease your anxiety and bring calm to this stressful time.  Tracey is ready to serve At Your Side.
